About the Project

The “Greatest Gift” project is an annual short term mission campaign that is scheduled in the second week of December. The focus is two fold. First is to deliver shoe box Christmas gifts to children (for many it will be the first gift ever received). Second, and most importantly, is to have the opportunity to share with children and their parents about the “Greatest Gift” which is the birth of Jesus Christ and His desire to have a personal relationship with them.

RUTH Ministries International
has been serving in Romania for many years and understands the need to place Jesus Christ at the head of any humanitarian project. The ministry is dedicated to bringing the “Greatest Gift” to this region that hungers for truth and the understanding of eternal salvation.

The young boy (right in picture) was one child that received a Christmas gift. His story is why the "Greatest Gift" project is so important.
